**disclaimer: short opinion piece into the psychology of why I believe many humans didn’t care enough about the COVID-19 outbreak**

Access to news around the globe has never been easier, yet, in a time when a fast-moving virus was spreading around the world, we seemed unprepared as a nation.

And while dealing with a virus has a lot to do with the government policy and testing, a lot of dealing with a contagious virus also seems to have a lot to do with humans themselves.
